What to do in Shepherdstown? Turn to page 106 and follow the story. Head East on German Street for a block and one-half and turn left on Princess Street. Go past the 1790 Pump House (maybe the early version of a laundromat) at 107 Princess. You’ll see a tall hand pump in the middle of the sidewalk.
On the other side of Princess see the Town Run disappear under the sidewalk as it heads to the Potomac River. Then find the nearest restaurant. Spoiler alert – it’s the Blue Moon Café -- where you can see the Run magically reappear inside!
