Author David Muchow, award-winning corporate lawyer, serial CEO, and inventor discusses his new book, The 7 Secret Keys to Startup Success: What You Need to Know to Win. In this one-on-one interview with GW School of Business management professor Stuart Levy, David will share stories and experiences in reviewing the seven keys, how to avoid business-killing mistakes that lead to “Startup Suicide,” how to achieve success, and Management Zen, the seventh key, one of the key issues important to all professionals striving for career success — including life balance, leadership, and ethics.

Author David Muchow, managing partner, Muchowlaw, is an award-winning corporate lawyer, serial CEO, business expert, and inventor who has helped hundreds of startups and major companies and teaches Law, Business, and Entrepreneurship at Georgetown University. David helps companies grow from startup to exit strategy. He has over 30 years of experience in US and international projects, tech, intelligence, and government contracting, energy, M&A, business plans, and raising capital, finance, non-profits, litigation, and lobbying.

Stuart Levy, MBA, Ph.D, has nearly two decades of experience in management, teaching, consulting and research within a range of organizations — entrepreneurial and established businesses, consulting firms, government and academia. His work background includes consulting with PricewaterhouseCoopers Global Hospitality and Leisure Practice. He teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in digital marketing, entrepreneurship, customer experience management, hospitality and event management, and tourism planning and development.
